What Do I Get When I Purchase a Subscription Plan?

What are you buying and why?

Our components are *not* encrypted.  We believe you should have the right to customize the software you buy to your needs and if you add some cool Features please contact us and send it back to us and we will considering putting Customization in Future Release. So when update to are Future Releases the customization will be part of the Jomtube Gallery Package so you do not have to modify the code on each upgrade.

So if our source code is open, what are we selling?

Paying for a Subscription Plan does entitle you to Customer Support while your Subscription is Active! Through our Support Center we offer our Charter Members top-notch Customer Support for installation and Configuration issues.  No question is too small, and no ticket is left unanswered.  We have an internal policy of trying to make a first response to all of our tickets within 24 hours, and we try very hard to meet that goal.

If you were brought to Jomtube Design through extensions.joomla.org, then you've probably already heard some of the feedback on our support.  We wouldn't go so far as to say it's fanatical, but it's great nevertheless.

What Do I Get When I Purchase a Subscription Plan?

Each of our components subscriptions will follow the same basic pricing structure (having a 6-month subscription and a 12-month subscription), though depending on the component's feature-set, the price may vary between components.   To see our list of available subscriptions, please click here.The subscription fee is for access to all the Download Section of Jomtube Video Component along with all the Plugins and Modules.

You will all get access to the Jomtube whether you are Subscription Plan is active or not and will not get priority responses from the Jomtube support team unless your are Active. Depending on the topic you post, we will try to either:

  • Point you to relevant documentation that will instruct you how to use Jomtube Video Gallery features
  • Offer solutions to technical problems
  • Log Bug Reports, debug your server setup and fix our source code for any bugs
  • Log Feature Requests for and Consider all Requests for Future Releases

What the Subscription Plain Will Not Cover:

  • Fix problems that result from conflicts with:
    • Other third party components
    • If you Customize some Bad coded hacks
    • Customize Badly coded templates
  • Install FFMPEG, FFMPEG-PHP, MENCODER, FLVTOOL2 or any other server software as this should be the first thing you check before you consider purchasing a Subscription.

What Happens When My Subscription Ends?

If your subscription for a particular component is still active, you may download athe newest available versions of the Component, Modules, and Plugins immediately. While you may continue using the component without restriction after your support subscription expires, you will not have access to our support or upgrades.

Refund Policy?

We cannot offer refunds on purchases of support -- we are selling you the right to our time.  Please contact us with any questions before making your purchase as all purchases are final.  Thanks! Under no circumstances is a subscription fee refundable, as you are responsible for undertaking all reasonable steps to ensure our extensions will meet your specific requirements prior to subscription either by, but limited to, reading discussions on the Jomtube Design forums or contacting us directly via the “Helpdesk” mechanism of the Jomtube Design site.

Additional Terms & Conditions

  1. You are authorized to make any necessary modifications to our extensions to fit your purposes. You may not however change or remove the copyright information from any file.
  2. You may not claim intellectual or exclusive ownership to any of our products, modified or unmodified. All products are property of Jomtube Design.
  3. Our products are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied. In no event shall Jomtube Design, its parent company or any company representative be liable for any damages including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages or other losses arising out of the use of or inability to use our products.
  4. Jomtube Design extensions will specify which version of Joomla they are compatible with and are tested with only core Joomla functionality and core Joomla modules, components and other said features. As such we cannot guarantee that the products will run with past or future versions of these CMS's nor can we guarantee that any of our products will work with any 3rd party extension developed for the Joomla CMS.
  5. Since we are offering non-tangible goods we do not issue refunds after the payment is made for our subscription service. You are responsible for undertaking all reasonable steps to ensure our products will meet your specific needs prior to subscription either by, but limited to, reading discussions on the Jomtube Design forums or contacting us directly via the “Helpdesk” mechanism of the Jomtube Design site.
  6. By registering for a free or subscription account on Jomtube Design's site you agree to be automatically subscribed to our mailing list. Jomtube Design publishes a newsletter informing registered users of, but not limited to, version releases of our software with bug fixes, new updated components and new components.
  7. Jomtube Design will not sell nor rent your mailing details or make publicly available any said information.
  8. Jomtube Design reserves the right to change or modify these terms with no prior notice. .
