Click here to goto Jomtube.com Remote Server Plugin for the Newest Released Remote Server Plugins. Then download that you want to your computer. Then your Ready to install them. Goto the the BACKEND of Joomla 1.5x as Admin and goto Jomtube->Plugins as shown in the example below.

Next select Video Server Tab as that is where we want to install the Remote Server Plugin. Browse the Files you Downloaded and select the Remote Plugin from your Computer that you wish to Install.

After you clicked Install File the Remote Plugin gets Installed and will be listed in the Video Server Remote Server Plugins List. Double Click on the text to Show the Available Features and Options for the Plugin.

Each Remote Plugin will have its own unique features as certain Video Providers provide different Video Information as some have API others do not. You need to read the Terms of Use and User Agreement to make sure your not violating anything. By using the DEFAULT EMBED PLAYER that the host provides makes sure your not violating the terms.

Each Video Service provider has its own terms so make sure to read. With some Remote Plugins you can play through the JWPLAYER so it looks to be your own branded player but this can not be done with every provider. Many Service Providers have protection and will change the way there system processes and hides there video file paths. So this is a constant war as every time they make changes it can break system if it is using the JWPLAYER to stream..

By using the Default Embed Player they provide you do not have to worry about this.

As you can see I have added a lot of options in the example of Above for the Youtube Player. You can even customize the colors of their Default Player with many more options there player provides.. This will all depend on the Service Provider.

For the JWPLAYER the options are the same and I will be adding more options to it as time goes on as i will add the LongTail Ad Services. And integrations to select some of the Plugins that are made for it as they are hosted by them http://www.longtailvideo.com/addons/plugins. So Play with the Settings and Find the Ones that Match to Fit Your Site.

Once your done setting up the Options and Features and then you are almost done as just make sure the Remote Plugins Is Pubished and set to YES.

Then just click on SAVE or APPLY and your ready to start adding videos for that Video Provider on your Website.
