i had tried jomtube in my site, i had uploaded mp4 videos through front end, but its not showing, instead sum error message is showing. #error2038 and video not found.
But the video uploaded is present in my www/jomla/jomtubefiles. But its not showing, wat should i do to solve the issue? How can i change directory to show the uploaded files. Also when i use youtube links for adding videos,it too not working, i tried the method u hav shown in tutorial but no use. Really i dont know wat to do . plz assist me. :unsure:

can you upload from the BACKEND or FRONTEND and you made sure you have the FFMPEG setting set correctly?

The video tutorials are old and the new Remote Plugins have been completely redone.. So i have them made completed but they will only work with the new version of jomtube 1.1.1 as the framework has really been revamped to make things easier for development and compatibilitiy

about the mp4, you said you uploaded it but you don't say what are your conversion settings; are you reconverting mp4/flv or not. If yes, then it s probably because you don't have x264 installed on your server, then the file has been uploaded but not converted.

Hi im having the same problem. uploading on the front end dont works.
i shift my server to vexxhost because of this component. some of my issue with this component was solved, but not with the video uploading. what is the proper setting to make it works smoothly.

Well with the new version this maybe solved.. I have not got into the LOCAL VIDEOS of the code yet. As Tran was the one working on this.. But there are many things i need to fix there I saw why browsing the code.

But I the LOCAL VIDEO issues should be solved in the next version as I had some people testing that were having problems and most of their problems were solved..

Once I get the Release out 1.1.1 I will debug that first.. Then figure out the next things to work on.. And i will take a look at your site and solve the issue..

yeah i pretty sure that its the same installer jomsocial uses... It should not be hard to install because i know it works and i looked at the instructions above and should be no problem..

but after 1.1.1 out i will do this
